With over 30 years of international culinary experience, Frédérique "Freddie" Frenkel brings authentic French passion and expertise to every cooking experience. As the founder of Freddie's Table, this accomplished French chef has dedicated her career to making great food accessible to everyone, believing that "a great meal is minutes away" when you have the right guidance and encouragement.
Freddie's journey took an innovative turn during the pandemic when she began sharing cooking tutorials on YouTube, transforming her family's monthly international cooking gatherings into something the general public could enjoy. What started as a way to stay connected with friends and family around the world evolved into a thriving business that now brings people together through food, regardless of distance or skill level.
Leading a team of international food professionals, Freddie has built Freddie's Table into a female-owned, family-operated business that serves Westchester and Putnam Counties in New York, as well as parts of Connecticut. Her approach is refreshingly genuine – never pretentious or condescending – focusing on simple yet bold recipes using affordable, easy-to-procure ingredients. Whether teaching seniors through "The Golden Chef" program at community centers, leading private cooking parties in clients' kitchens, or coordinating virtual Zoom cooking experiences, Freddie creates welcoming environments where cooks of all levels can shine and rediscover their love for creating delicious food.
